Hangovers are never fun, but they can be especially unbearable when you have to pull yourself together and face the real world! Your boss doesn't have to know you aren't 100%; use these quick and easy tips to look gorgeous (even if you don't feel like it).

Don't skip the shower.

It will help wake you up...and remove the scent of stale cigarettes and 'bar' that no one wants to smell the next day.

Also try to drink as much water as you can. Your body is dehydrated, and water is one of the only things that can get you looking and feeling back to normal!

Calm puffy eyes.

Puffy eyes are a sure sign that you had a rough night. Keep a product on hand like Dermalogica Total Eye Care SPF15. It has a reddish tint to cover bags under the eyes, and it's full of calming ingredients like Bisabolol, Spiraea and Hydrocotyl Extract to help bring the eye area back to normal. It's a great product to have on hand in emergencies, but also wonderful to use daily.

If you don't have an eye cream, place a cool wash clothe over your face. Warm caffeinated tea bags can help, too.

Use a tinted moisturizer for a quick fix.

This helps you get hydration and color all at the same time. Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF15 comes in light, medium and dark, and has the added benefit of UVA/UVB protection. Tinted moisturizer is perfect for easy summertime days, as well as mornings when you just don't feel like going through your regular routine!

If you don't have a tinted moisturizer on hand, mix equal parts of your foundation and moisturizer to save you the hassle of 2 steps.

Add some color.

You can't be expected to put on a full face of makeup, but a bit of color is an easy way to hide drab skin. Bronzer is your best friend for mornings like this! Brush your favorite bronzer over your cheeks, forehead, nose, neck and chest for a "healthy glow". We recommend Jane Iredale Sunbeam Bronzer; it seems to look great on all skin tones, it has 24-karat gold flakes to give you a "golden goddess" glow, and is made up of 4 individual colors that you can use as eyeshadows, lip tints, etc.

Lipstick is essential! It just takes 2 seconds, and makes you look like you spent hours getting ready. Pack it in your purse for touch-ups.

If you can handle an extra step, mascara will help wake up tired eyes.

Spritz your way to a glowing complexion.

Spritz toners are always great for the skin, but are ESPECIALLY important when skin is lacking the basic elements. After your makeup is on, spritz with a Jane Iredale mist. It gives you a blast of nutrients, sets your makeup, and wakes you up so you are ready for the day! Keep it in your bag for a mid-day refresher.

The night before...

If you anticipate a possible hangover situation, prep your skin ahead of time! You'll be amazed at how much better it will feel the morning after. Focusing on hydration, antioxidants and nourishing minerals will help keep skin ready for the assault.

Apply MultiVitamin Power Recovery Mask for 10 minutes pre-going out. Your skin will soak up all of the good-for-you ingredients, helping it to fight off damage that may occur!

Now all you need is sunglasses, headache medicine and your gorgous smile...no one has to know about last night. And keep that water bottle handy!
